Boy's birthday guide

E's 25th birthday is coming up later this week. Since he'll be celebrating in New York with Alex and I'm in the midwest for work, we're going to have our own next week.

E is notoriously impossible to buy for (aren't all guys?), so i wanted to share a few of my ideas for his birthday presents in case it would help anyone else out who's looking for husband gifts.
E has a 200+ amazon wish list for books, but it gets boring to buy him books all the time, so here are a few non-book alternatives.

E's favorite book is The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. Carly posted about this amazing artist who creates posters depicting the cover of a book using the text of the book it's featuring.
Its would look great in E's study.

Tickets for E's trip to New York

A tour of the NBC Studios at 30 Rockefeller Center (It's too bad Kenneth isn't leading the tour!)

Casual loafers

Do you have a hard time buying gifts for your husband/SO? Any ideas you might add to the list?

Birthdays are SO HARD for Mr. KM! I slacked off this year, which you can read about here: http://andnowlights.blogspot.com/2010/10/first-married-birthday.html

I feel bad, cause it was our first married birthday, but I think you did a GREAT job!

My hubby is not that hard to shop for; my mom on the other hand is impossible! She just buys whatever it is she wants when she wants it (I take after her with that), and she's not really into anything. More often than not I end up buying her a case of coca-cola, and something with pears as a joke (because she has a HUGE pear tree, and complains about the vast amount of pears every year). I am IN LOVE with those book posters; heading over to the shop now to see what else they have! Thanks for the tips.
Ah 25... my little sister just turned 25! I feel SO OLD!

OMG you can request books for them to make a poster of, and they e-mail if/when they have! I am so excited about this! Thanks again for the tip!

My husband is impossible to shop for. Anything he wants/needs, he usually just buys for himself. For the last few years I've resorted to giving him experience gifts (instead of material gifts) like concert tickets, ball game tickets, a vacation, a party, dinner out somewhere fancy, etc. That way we get to do something together.

Any gift for my husband is hard beacause we are going on 11 years of being together...gifts get old and ideas run out :) He would love those casual loafers however! I might have to purchase some for him for Christmas, thanks for sharing!
