Happy Weekend!

What are you up to this lovely spring weekend?

This weekend one of E's high school friends is getting married and he's standing up.
The guys supposed to wear white shirts, black pants and black Vans and either a black tie, a black bowtie or a black vest.

Husband is not seeing this look come together (the vans with dress pants), but I know exactly how it will look because i've seen it before on a certain Silver Pencils/Espresso wedding party :-)

So i've been trying to reassure him. The groom also asked if all the groomsman would grow facial hair for the wedding day! i'm looking forward to seeing their yellow and black, casual backyard barbecue wedding all come together! The bride has asked me along with another friend to come early to help assemble and keep things running smoothly during the day and I couldn't be more excited!

In honor of their impending nuptials, I wanted to share a few of their incredible engagement photos, taken by Southern California photographer, Anjuli Paschall, this fall.

After seeing these photos, I've thought about booking her for an anniversary or TTD shoot, and you'll soon see why!

I LOVE THOSE PHOTOS! I actually used some of them as inspiration for our engagement photos - we used a chalkboard, and that's where we got the idea! :)
